Welcome to the 2021 Thursday Morning Pickleball League at Fairbanks. This league runs from June 24 - Aug 26th. 10 games will be listed This league is for 2.0-2.5 levels Only!!

Day: Thursdays Time: 9am!

This league is designed for you to make some new friends and learn how to work together with a partner. Players will have a designated number of matches on the schedule. Please follow that number for the date that you play and your court assignment.

Based on how many players signed up, you may have a match every Thursday. However once hte leagues are listed you will see your FULL schedule on Top Dog.

You will play two/three games to 11, win by 2

Remember to plan ahead and find your subs as early as possible. Send an email to all players on your court to notify them of the change and also send one to Ralph.Acosta@bayclubs.com

Lastly, in consideration for other racquet members, please do not book a court prior to your match time for warm-up. Thanks for your cooperation. When you arrive, please wait for the previous reservation to finish their game before entering the court

League Rules

1. If you are scheduled to play, it is your responsibility to find a sub. Call a player from the sub list. Players who are regulars are not eligible to be a sub. If you have another sub in mind (one who is not included on the sub list), please get approval from “Commissioner Ralph” 858-369-3217. Anyone can be a SUB as our sub list isn’t that full yet, but they must be a member.

2. There is no rescheduling of matches due to players not being available to play.

3. Warm up and default rules: ten minute warm up. USAPA default rules apply for our league. The court is available at 9:00am. and the first point must start by 9:05 a.m. (Tennis office clock is the official clock.) Rest room usage must be done before 9:00 a.m. please show up at 9am sharp!

If players show up after 9:00am then there will be no warm up. The match must begin. If both players from the opposing team do not show up until after 9:15 a.m., then it is the discretion of the team present to either take the default or opt to play the match. If only one player from the opposing team is on the court by 9:15 a.m. and his/her partner has not arrived, the match must begin at 9:15 a.m. with two players playing against one player on the full doubles court until the other player arrives. Once the player arrives, the match continues with NO warm up.

4. Play two/three games to 11, win by 2.

5. The team who wins the most games reports the scores.

6. In case of inclement weather, first check ZINGLE, or call the front desk 1 hour before match time: 858-369-3217. Zingle will tell you if the league is on or off!

7. The league will have X match dates and X matches total. League Fee: $30 per person. This will be determined by how many players enter
